Description
English: Radar engineer Ron Muellerschoen inspects the GLISTIN instrument attached to NASA's Gulfstream-III aircraft before takeoff to collect data for the Oceans Melting Greenland (OMG) field campaign. The Glacier and Ice Surface Topography Interferometer (GLISTIN) will make high resolution, high precision elevation measurements of Greenland’s coastal glaciers to aid OMG's five-year airborne and ship-based mission to study the role of the oceans in melting Greenland’s ice. omg.jpl.nasa.gov Image credit: NASA/JPL-Caltech
